Had to leave work early and get in a ride. Felt very sluggish this morning but the day was just too nice to pass up for a bike ride. So I got home around 3:30 and changed quickly and set out for a quick 25 miler. As I was riding to the levee I should have put on some sunglasses. The wind was just kicking everything up and I must have rubbed my eyes raw with all the dust and pollen that has been airlifted.
Finally made it to the levee and headwind city. This is going to be a gruelling ride. And sure enough, it was. My legs were aching the entire ride. I thought I would get a break when I turned around, uh uhn. The wind was unpredictable, but seemed to be mostly coming off the river. No relief there since the levee runs parallel. Should have gotten up early.
